I confess to having found writing about myself on this page hard – it’s made me stare at the page for longer than I thought possible and I have had to go on a lot of bracing walks and drink about 47,000 cups of tea. Writing about myself isn't my forte, planning your wedding is.

Why Wedding Planning?
I’ve been involved in weddings and events since 2014 and to be honest, it’s the perfect job for me… I’m a little bit of a control freak and I take great pride in this.
As your wedding planner I need to know what’s happening, when/where/how and why to the nth degree, and I’m armed for every eventuality in work and in life (you’ve only got to look in my frankly epic on-the-day kit bag to know the extent of this – yes, I do carry air freshener and a mallet!)
I love the busyness and the rush that comes with the build up to a wedding, but if you’re working with me, you won’t see all of the many cogs I’m keeping moving in this great big gorgeous event machine we’re creating together!
I’m the calm in the chaos, that’s how I like to operate. While I’d hesitate to compare myself to a swan, I do definitely appreciate the image of serenity above the surface while industriously paddling underneath!
Your wedding day (or days) means multiple suppliers, many differing personalities coming together on site, possibly multiple locations and of course, multiple guest dynamics. As far as I’m concerned, the more complex the better. I don’t see the point in doing what’s been done dozens of times before. You deserve the celebration of a lifetime, and I’ll stop at nothing to get it right.
Entertaining at home is one of my absolute favourite things to do, and serving up a delicious meal for the people who mean most to me is very much part of my love language.
When I'm not Planning Weddings...
I’m guessing it won’t be a huge surprise to you to learn that I like to stay busy. While I can appreciate a damn good box set, I’m just not really a sofa and Netflix kind of person. I like to have a full calendar and lots of things to look forward to on the horizon.
My inner circle of friends and loved ones is small but brilliant – I wouldn’t have it any other way – and I try to spend as much quality time with them as I can. I love getting outdoors with the dogs (who, by the way, are a regular fixture in the office), and we go on long rambles in the hills of the Peak District.
When I need to relax, you’ll find me either in the spa in full on chill out mode, or in my kitchen, cooking up a storm for friends and family (just don’t ask me to follow a recipe).
