2023 Wedding Trend’s I Love (and one’s I love a bit less)

Ok: I am late to the party as we reach the end of January 2023 but I want to document the 2023 wedding trends I am currently loving to look back on in years to come! As an award winning UK wedding planner you’ll know by now, I believe no two weddings are ever the same so there’s still millions of space to make these ideas and trends your own.

Do note, these are my personal opinions and ones to absolutely be taken with a pinch of salt.

  • Bold designs
  • Statement Florals
  • Experience led weddings
  • Break out spaces
  • Entertainment throughout the day
  • Late ceremony times (no more standing about!)
  • Weekend Celebrations: Brunches and welcome dinners
  • Exclusive Guestlists
  • Incredible food
  • Showstopping bars and drinks choices to wow your guests
  • Meaningful speeches
  • Suppliers who are as into your wedding as you
  • A change of shoe
  • Evening Attire

Wedding Planning Trends 2023 I think we’ll be seeing less of;

  • Faffy bits
  • Bridesmaids’ PJ’s that are never worn again
  • Early weddings
  • Chair covers & sash’s (ok truth bomb these were never really a ‘yes’ for me but each to their own)
  • BBQ Buffets
  • Lots of speeches
  • Cutting corners on marquee specs
  • Cake Cutting ‘ceremonies’
  • Favours that are wasted
  • Disinterested suppliers

If you’d like to find out more about the services I offer and what I can do for you, pop me an enquiry over and we can talk.
