The Casterton Grange Estate, designed by iconic 19th Century architect Ewan Christian boasts a history steeped in the English tradition. In recent years, this unique house has been restored and updated to combine classic style with modern luxury and is now available for exclusive use.
The house was designed with entertainment in mind. The flexible spaces and interconnecting rooms make Casterton Grange perfect for hosting parties and events of all kinds. It’s a place to relax in, celebrate in and most importantly, make memories in.
With 9 double en suite bedrooms, the main house can comfortably accommodate 18 guests, accommodation for a further 18 guests is available in The Lodge house, the Stables Cottage and The Barn. There’s a billiards room, spacious sitting rooms with open fires, a magnificent conservatory and enough private spaces to ensure you can escape the party for a moment of calm. Just let yourself in, kick off your shoes and make our house your home.
Nestled within the Lake District, Casterton Grange offers intimate house weddings for a maximum of 50 guests, or for a larger wedding celebration, their grounds can host a marquee for up to 150 guests.
From the romantic backdrop of the gardens and woodlands to the stunning grand staircase and the unique gothic tower, The Casterton Grange Estate is a venue that makes a statement. Originally, Casterton Grange was built for the Reverend Barclay Bevan, a member of Barclays Bank family. This stunning property was designed by Ewan Christian whose portfolio boasted the National Portrait Gallery, Glyndebourne and several Cathedrals. It is now available for your exclusive use.
