Located in the south of The Lake District, the Graythwaite estate is home to the most wonderful collection of holiday cottages and a glamping site, providing the most excellent tranquil environment. With connections to William Wordsworth, Beatrix Potter and Thomas Mawson, Graythwaite Estate is rich in both history and culture.
Nestled in the Lake District, Graythwaite Estate’s ample grounds offer picturesque views overlooking both the lakes and woodlands. Silverholme Manor plays host to a wedding celebration at the Graythwaite Estate. Their Grade II listed Georgian Manor is the perfect blank canvas to truly make your own in the most incredible settings.
Silverholme Manor is the perfect wedding venue and comes complete with its own private driveway, grounds extending down to the shores of Windermere, a Coach House for civil ceremonies and partying the night away and on-site accommodation for all your guests. Silverholme sleeps 18 guests plus 2 children across its 8 ensuite bedrooms and a private 2-person cottage (perfect for the married couple!)
If you want to house all of your guests and make for a truly fantastic weekend wedding, the estate can accommodate 200 guests across its 37 properties. You have the choice of hosting your wedding celebrations either within a marquee or within the coach-house.
During your wedding weekend at Silverholme Manor, you can also check out the facilities within the estate which include a swimming pool, table tennis and play area not to mention the space to hike, bike and fish. For the real adrenaline junkies, there is also the opportunity to experience paddleboarding, off-road 4X4-ing, clay pigeon shooting and axe throwing.
